Short Story About Our Company
Our firm is a small-town firm with big-city talent. Located in the Berkshires we receive nearly more foot traffic from deer, than locals. Not say our phones aren’t off the hook when it becomes ‘busy season’. But we do enjoy our small town country feel.
Martha, Founder of the firm has worked in the field for over 41 years serving clients and has prepared over 30,000 income tax returns in her time. When not pumping out returns or calmly handling a crisis, she enjoys her dogs, gardening and renovating her Victorian house. Graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in 1967, Martha is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, and before the U.S. Tax Court. She has been the tax and finance reporter for NBC News New York and is the author of What Every Woman Needs to Know about the Law (Doubleday).
Our team is comprised of a several other dedicated community members, who are there to help people through troubled tax times, and preparing income tax returns.
We are proud to be the ones answering the telephone and behind every phone call and email, and offer a real person with real care to take your problems or simple returns, on as if they are our own.

Melissa is our Office Manager. She is the friendly voice you hear when you call, and is always ready to listen. When Melissa is not in the office, you can find her capturing recipes off of Pinterest, escaping to the OBX with her family, or diving into a new read. She and her husband are the proud parents of four children and three dogs.
